Since this is the holiday season, I was given the gift of hockey cards for St. Nicks day!

I’ll be opening a box of Series One 2011-2012 in conjunction with the other two long-term box breaks. This break will be dubbed “medium term”, as I will be opening two packs a day (or so) until the box is all used up!

These are my first Series One cards, so I’m excited to see what I get!

Base Cards

  • #20 Dion Phaneuf, Toronto Maple Leafs
  • #25 Luke Schenn, Toronto Maple Leafs
  • #99 Carey Price, Montreal Canadiens

  • #106 Mikko Koivu, Minnesota Wild

EA Sports Ultimate Team

  • EA15 Jonathan Quick, L.A. Kings

A bunch of base cards and one insert today. Honestly though, I can’t really argue. There are many more packs to go!

I like how I got three Columbus players. That’s such an odd team to get a majority of the cards from. Also, two Jonathan Quick cards back-to-back in the same pack was amusing as well.

I love the artwork of these cards. Byfuglein’s face on his card is priceless.

MUCH MORE to come tomorrow!
